PERRYVILLE -- Alvin A. Mowry, 72, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992, at Perry County Hospital. He was born June 27, 1919, at Minnith, son of William and Rosella Lancaster Mowry. He and Mary A. Taylor were married June 28, 1947. Survivors include his wife; a brother, William Mowry of Perryville; six sisters, Bernice Zahner, Josephine Coppaway, Alberta Cissell and Iceal Brewer of Perryville, Pearl Otte of St. Marys, Estelle Dewies of Illinois, and three grandsons...

PERRYVILLE -- Alvin A. Mowry, 72, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992, at Perry County Hospital.

He was born June 27, 1919, at Minnith, son of William and Rosella Lancaster Mowry. He and Mary A. Taylor were married June 28, 1947.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, William Mowry of Perryville; six sisters, Bernice Zahner, Josephine Coppaway, Alberta Cissell and Iceal Brewer of Perryville, Pearl Otte of St. Marys, Estelle Dewies of Illinois, and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ron Brand will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.
