DEXTER, Mo. -- Alveta Aycock, 69, of Dexter died Sunday, April 20, 2003, at her home.
She was born April 16, 1934, at Bernie, Mo., daughter of Ralph and Lorell Crabtree Murphy. She and James F. Aycock were married May 23, 1953, at Parma. He died Aug. 9, 2001.
Aycock was retired from Dexter Memorial Hospital business office.
Survivors include a daughter, Joy Aycock of Memphis, Tenn.; her mother of Dexter; three brothers, Quincy Murphy of Dexter, Gary and Berry Murphy of Bernie; two sisters, Arvella Palmer of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Linda Garner of Sikeston, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 3 to 4:30 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 4:45 p.m. today at Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
