Alta Christina Aldora Streinz, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Jackson Manor in Jackson. She was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Buckner, Ill., daughter of Louis and Eairy Thomas Young. She and Andrew Balogh were married in 1936. He died March 18, 1949. She and Henry H. Adams were married Aug. 4, 1949. He died Nov. 23, 1974. She and Guenther "Dutch" Streinz were married Dec. 11, 1975. He died March 27, 1986...

Alta Christina Aldora Streinz, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Buckner, Ill., daughter of Louis and Eairy Thomas Young. She and Andrew Balogh were married in 1936. He died March 18, 1949. She and Henry H. Adams were married Aug. 4, 1949. He died Nov. 23, 1974. She and Guenther "Dutch" Streinz were married Dec. 11, 1975. He died March 27, 1986.

Streinz received a degree in physical therapy and Swedish massage in 1962, and received a licensed practical nursing degree in 1967.

She owned and operated Adams Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau 20 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Vernon Balogh of state of Washington, Henry "Phil" Adams of Jackson; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

There is no visitation.

A private graveside service will be held at Durham Cemetery in Galatia, Ill.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home at Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
