EAST PRAIRIE -- Alta Voner Dunn, 91, of East Prairie died Monday, April 19, 1998, at East Prairie Nursing Center. She was born Nov. 27, 1906, in Dorena, daughter of William and Nina Williams Brown. She and Everett Dunn were married Feb. 14, 1925. He died Nov. 22, 1980...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Alta Voner Dunn, 91, of East Prairie died Monday, April 19, 1998, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Nov. 27, 1906, in Dorena, daughter of William and Nina Williams Brown. She and Everett Dunn were married Feb. 14, 1925. He died Nov. 22, 1980.

Dunn was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, W.C. and Bill Dunn of East Prairie; three daughters, Nora Moore, Dorothy Hall and Frankie Jones of East Prairie; a brother, Charles Brown of West Alton, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with George White and Ted Wimberley officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
