ALPHA BRYANT

ZALMA -- Alpha Bryant, 90, of Zalma died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 15, 1908, at Zalma, daughter of Guy Dennis and Elizabeth Berrong Lingle. She and Sidney Bryant were married March 19, 1936, in St. Louis. He died March 1, 1985.

Bryant was a member of Zalma General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a stepson, Robert Bryant of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three stepgrandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; and two great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister, a stepdaughter, and a stepson.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Fox officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery.
