Alma Weber

WITTENBERG, Mo. -- Alma J. Weber, 88, of Wittenberg died on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo.

She was born on Jan. 8, 1914, at Wittenberg, daughter of Theodore H. and Pauline J. Gerler Schattauer.

She and Eldore V. Weber were married April 9, 1939. He died Nov. 12, 1971.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Altenburg, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Clinton Weber of Wittenberg; three daughters, Louise Petzoldt of Frohna, Mo., Irene Sowell of Arnold, Mo., and Ruth Pohlman of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday or from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ronald Paseur officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
