Alma Lee Tropf, 99, of Advance, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at Des Peres Hospital in Des Peres, Mo.

She was born Aug. 17, 1907, in Advance, daughter of George and Ida Mae Masters Pixley. She and Loyd Arthur Tropf were married in 1928 in Bloomfield, Mo.

Tropf worked for many years as a sales clerk at Wards Store in Advance. She had also worked at Inland Shoe Factory in Advance. She was a member of Advance First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Winnis Schmidt of San Diego, Calif., and Sue Johnson of St. Louis; a sister, Jeanette Voss of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
