ALMA RITCH

DEXTER -- Alma Ritch, 83, of Dexter died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 21, 1913, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of John and Maude Knapp Sutton. She and Paul Ritch were married Oct. 25, 1933, in Blytheville. He died in October 1965.

Ritch lived in St. Louis 30 years and was a dietitian at the Lutheran Hospital. She moved to Dexter in 1993.

Survivors include two daughters, Melba Harlan of Gray Ridge, Sue Holder of St. Louis; two sons, Charles Ritch of Dexter, Kenneth Ritch of Fenton; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery at Bloomfield.
