JACKSON -- Alma Muster, 79, of Jackson, died Monday, April 24, 1995, at Deal Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1915, north of Whitewater, daughter of Herman and Alvina Dralle Meier. She and Emil Muster were married Aug. 3, 1938. He died March 26, 1987.
Muster moved to Jackson in 1986 from the farm. She was a lifelong member of St. James United Church of Christ, active in Sunday School and the Women's Fellowship. She was a former secretary of Evangelical Cemetery Association at Dutchtown.
Muster had been a Republican committeewoman in Hubble Township, a volunteer with American Red Cross and American Cancer Society, and member of Gordonville Homemakers Club.
She received the Century Farm Award in 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolena Galloway and Dorothy Rowley of Jackson; three grandchildren, and a stepgrandson.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, two brothers and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
