PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alma Z. Kahmke, 97, of Florissant, Mo., formerly of Perryville, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Northgate Park Nursing Home in Florissant. She was born May 24, 1911, in Perryville, daughter of John and Emma Gerstacker Moldenhauer. She and Frederick C. Kahmke were married July 1, 1930. He died July 6, 1987...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Alma Z. Kahmke, 97, of Florissant, Mo., formerly of Perryville, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Northgate Park Nursing Home in Florissant.

She was born May 24, 1911, in Perryville, daughter of John and Emma Gerstacker Moldenhauer. She and Frederick C. Kahmke were married July 1, 1930. He died July 6, 1987.

Kahmke was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include a son, Donald Kahmke of Hawk Point, Mo.; a sister, Gladys Moldenhauer of Sun City, Ariz.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to service time today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
