Alma Fowler, 75, of Hawkins, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, following a lingering illness. She was born Jan. 14, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Samuel Colbert and Ona Moore Snider. She and Clemo Fowler were married Nov. 13, 1944. He preceded her in death...

Alma Fowler, 75, of Hawkins, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, following a lingering illness.

She was born Jan. 14, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Samuel Colbert and Ona Moore Snider. She and Clemo Fowler were married Nov. 13, 1944. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Leliani Braden of Houston, Texas; two brothers, C.E. Snider of Scott City, Frank Snider of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mary Higgason of Hawkins; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service was Jan. 23 in Dallas, Texas.
