JACKSON -- Alma F. Foeste, 87, of Jackson, died Sunday, July 4, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1906, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Henry and Julia Heuer Habeck. She and John Foeste were married Oct. 19, 1938. He died Nov. 26, 1966...

JACKSON -- Alma F. Foeste, 87, of Jackson, died Sunday, July 4, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Feb. 2, 1906, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Henry and Julia Heuer Habeck. She and John Foeste were married Oct. 19, 1938. He died Nov. 26, 1966.

Foeste worked at International Shoe Co. many years, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills.

Survivors include two brothers, Wilbert Habeck of Jackson, Herbert Habeck of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Erma Dockins of Ukiah, Calif., and Hattie Habeck of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Mark Martin will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
