ALMA BAUE

FROHNA -- Alma A. Baue, 84, formerly of Frohna, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Charleviox Nursing Home in St. Charles.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1915, in Perryville, daughter of Emanuel and Mary Hansen Hoffstetter.

She married Frederic W. Baue on May 16, 1944.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing Alumni Club. She was a past member of the Board of Directors of St. Charles County Historical Society and owner of Blanchette House Antiques in St. Charles.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, the Rev. Frederic W. Baue of Glendale, Mo., and Kurt Baue of St. Charles; a daughter, Jane C. Maddox of Valparaiso, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles and from 11 a.m. until time of funeral Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Church. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.

Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
