BLOOMFIELD -- Alma Janiece Arnel, 50, of Harrison, Ark., died Wednesday, March 20, 1996, in Harrison. She was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Springfield, Ark., daughter of Sherman C. and Clennie Williams. She and Thomas L. Arnel were married July 28, 1964. Arnel was a 1963 graduate of Bloomfield High School. She and her husband had owned and operated Cresthaven Inn in Harrison. BLOOMFIELD -- Alma Janiece Arnel, 50, of Harrison, Ark., died Wednesday, March 20, 1996, in Harrison.

She was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Springfield, Ark., daughter of Sherman C. and Clennie Williams. She and Thomas L. Arnel were married July 28, 1964.

Arnel was a 1963 graduate of Bloomfield High School. She and her husband had owned and operated Cresthaven Inn in Harrison. She was a member of First Christian Church in Harrison.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Smiley of Harrison, Cindy Barquist of Yucca Valley, Calif.; her mother of Bloomfield; two sisters, Frances Moore of Bloomfield, Faye Ellis of Dexter, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in West Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
