CAIRO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Allie V. Ritchie of Olive Branch, formerly of Cairo, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Barkett Funeral Chapel. Dr. Larry L. Potts will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ritchie died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 71.
She was born Sept. 25, 1919, at LaCenter, Ky., daughter of James and Mattie Rogers Champion.
She attended Cairo Baptist Church, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Cairo VFW Auxiliary. She was a past VFW Auxiliary district president and owned the Hub Lounge in Cairo before retiring.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Nova Lee Hott of Shreveport, La.; a brother, Robert L. Baker of Webster City, Iowa; nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
