MOUNDS, Ill. -- Allie Caywood Rogers, 82, of Mounds, formerly of Olmsted, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Blandville, Ky., son of Frank and Susie Holmes Caldwell. She married George Caywood, who died in 1967, and later married Roscoe Rogers, who died in 1983...

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Allie Caywood Rogers, 82, of Mounds, formerly of Olmsted, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Blandville, Ky., son of Frank and Susie Holmes Caldwell. She married George Caywood, who died in 1967, and later married Roscoe Rogers, who died in 1983.

Rogers was a retired seamstress from Lowenbaum, and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Calvin of Mounds, Priscilla Wadley of Jackson, Mo.; a sister, Novie Baxter of Mound City, a twin sister, Hallie Kimbrell of Bandana, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Bonnie Nalepa of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Judy Rennie of Spring, Texas; two stepsons, Sonny and Dale Rogers of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren, and several great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Calvin Jr. and Darin Wadley officiating. Burial will be in Oscar Cemetery at Oscar, Ky.
