WYATT, Mo. -- Allen "Jack" Williams, 79, of Wyatt died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at his home. He was born July 11, 1921, in New Canton, Ill., son of Albert Allen and Loraine Hamilton Williams. WYATT, Mo. -- Allen "Jack" Williams, 79, of Wyatt died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at his home.

He was born July 11, 1921, in New Canton, Ill., son of Albert Allen and Loraine Hamilton Williams. He and Ella Mae Brumley were married Jan. 13, 1940.

Williams lived in Mississippi County most of his life. He was a retired ironworker and certified welder.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick Williams of Bonne Terre, Mo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Wallace officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
