PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Allen R. "Wigger" Buchheit, 65, of Perryville died Friday, July 28, 2006, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 22, 1940, at Apple Creek, Mo., son of Theodore and Edna Meyer Buchheit.
Buchheit was the owner/ operator of Wiggers. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Mo., Perry County Sportsmans Club, River Hills Eagles Lodge 4034, AmVets Post 94, Little Saline Social Club, Elks Lodge 2701 and booster member of VFW Post 4282.
Survivors include his mother of Apple Creek; a son, Curtis Buchheit of Perryville; three daughters, Tina Oberndorfer of Frohna, Mo., Tracy Engert and Becky Cissell, both of Perryville; four brothers, Clarence Buchheit of Perryville, Earl Buchheit of Cape Girardeau, Kenny Buchheit of Apple Creek, Ronnie Buchheit of St. Louis; a sister, Stella Moore of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel.
Funeral will begin with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
