PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Funeral for Alida Oberndorfer of Perryville, formerly of Washington, Mo., was held Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington. The Rev. Mark Bangert officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home at Washington was in charge of arrangements.
Oberndorfer, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at PerryOaks Manor.
She was born June 13, 1914, at Frohna, Mo., daughter of Rudolph and Bertha Kaufmann Popp. She and Hugo Oberndorfer were married Aug. 12, 1934, at Frohna.
Oberndorfer was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid and Quilters.
Survivors include five sons, Charles Oberndorfer of Frohna, Harlin Oberndorfer of Altenburg, Mo., Jerry and Gene Oberndorfer of Kansas City, Darwin Oberndorfer of Washington; a sister, Elvira Scholl of Frohna; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.
