ANNA, Ill. -- Alice Sarah Hill, 90, of Anna, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994, at her home. She was born June 23, 1904, in Anna, daughter of George and Mollie McNew Soloman. She and Hal Hill were married May 15, 1922, in Murphysboro. He died in September 1989...

ANNA, Ill. -- Alice Sarah Hill, 90, of Anna, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994, at her home.

She was born June 23, 1904, in Anna, daughter of George and Mollie McNew Soloman. She and Hal Hill were married May 15, 1922, in Murphysboro. He died in September 1989.

Hill was a retired telephone operator, and member of Anna Moose Lodge Auxiliary.

Survivors include a sister, Opal Davis of Anna, and a brother, Carl Phillips of Cadiz, Ky.

Friends may call at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 11 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Christine Erdmann officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
