Alice Roth

ST. MARY, Mo. -- Alice R. Roth, 52, of St. Mary died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo.

She was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Arlous Webster and Ruby Ellen Farrar Abernathy.

Roth was an assembler at Prince Gardner and Solar Press. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Shelly Woll of O'Fallon, Mo.; her father of Perryville; six brothers, Wilfred Abernathy of Perryville, Lester Abernathy of Spring Hill, Fla., Ronald Abernathy of Gordonville, Ivan Abernathy of Brookville, Fla., Gary Abernathy of St. Louis, Lynn Abernathy of Moorpark, Calif.; five sisters, Dorothy Wichern of Washington, Ark., Viola Cooper of Calimesa, Calif., Janet Hadler and Carol Kluender of Perryville, Kathleen Gundling of Friendswood, Texas; a friend, Sean Skinner of St. Mary; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Friends may call at Trinity Baptist Church after 9 a.m. Saturday.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Irvin Brooks officiating.

Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville is in charge of arrangements.
