PATTON - Alice R. Garrett, 37, of Patton, Rt. 1, died Friday, Nov. 13, at her home.
She was born May 8, 1955, at Flint, Mich., to Sterling and Bonnie Starkey Stanfill of Bloomfield, who survive.
She married Tom Garrett on April 23, 1976 at Bell City. He also survives. Other survivors include one son, Brian Garrett, one daughter, Connie Garrett, one step-son, Tim Garrett, all of the home; one step-daughter, Tracey Marshall of Naylor; two brothers, Sterling "Bud" Stanfill of Patton, Rt. 1, and Duke Stanfill of Burton, Mich..
Eight sisters also survive: Tressie Cash of Dexter, Elva Jean Bell, Joyce Bostic, Anita Haley, Marcie Farrow and Valarie Korpi, all of Bloomfield., Brenda Ostron of Mt. Morris, Mich., and Mary Bell of Midland, Mich. Two step-grandchildren also survive.
Garrett was a homemaker and a member of the Missouri Street Church of Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 1 p.m., at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Edsel Pruett officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Bell City.
