WOLF LAKE, Ill. — Alice F. Myers, 93, of Wolf Lake died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 5, 1915, in St. Louis, daughter of Harry and Myrtle Tweedy Carter. She and Cyril L. Myers were married Sept. 9, 1933, in Anna, Ill. He died Jan. 9, 1986.
Alice was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Dick Myers of Jonesboro, Sam Myers of Grand Tower, Ill., Jerry Myers of Wolf Lake, Monty Myers of Mesquite, Texas; a daughter, Denise Pierce of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Virginia Walsh of New Palestine, Ind.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Revs. Stephanie Voss and Jim Stamp officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
