ALICE MILLER

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alice C. Miller, 93, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at Perry Oaks Manor.

She was born June 17, 1907, in Oklahoma City, Okla., daughter of Dr. Frederick Patrick and Rose Tobin Riley. She and Edgar Joseph Miller Sr. were married Nov. 15, 1930. He died April 23, 1985.

Miller opened The Bridal Shoppe in 1955 and owned and operated it until retiring in 1971. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies of Charity, Ladies Sodality, and Knights of Columbus Council 1263 Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Miller of St. Louis, Will Miller of Perryville; two daughters, Pat Sutterer of Red Bud, Ill., Mary Alice Staats of Cincinnati, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-10 a.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
