JACKSON -- Alice M. Egan, 92, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born in Cairo on July 2, 1906, the daughter of William P. and Nell Decker Egan.

She worked as an accountant for more than 50 years for the American Abrasive Metals Corp.

She attended Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau and was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.

Survivors include a niece, Sydney Egan Fleming of Jackson, two great-nephews, Lance and Ross Fleming, both of Jackson, and several cousins.

Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.

Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal Greene officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge.
