ANNA, Ill. -- Alice E. Lawson, 90, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 29, 1918, in Carbondale, Ill. She and Thomas W. Lawson were married Jan. 20, 1938, in Cape Girardeau.

Lawson was a member of Anna First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald Lawson of Pensacola, Fla., Denny Lawson of Anna; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tony Foeller officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
