Alice Summers Hulett, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 5, 2000, at her home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1904, at Caruthersville, daughter of George Stephen and Maude Vinyard Summers. She and Bonfoy "Bonnie" Hulett were married in 1938 in Columbia. He preceded her in death.

Hulett was assistant to the registrar at Southeast Missouri State University 12 years. She also was a secretary to the dean of administration and to the president of Stephens College in Columbia and had been secretary to the dean of business and public administration at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Mullally of Oakland, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
