CHARLESTON -- Alice Faye Walker, 67, of Charleston, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1993, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born Dec. 17, 1925, in Diehlstadt, daughter of Charles and Delia Robinson. She and Mose Walker Sr. were married in 1945.
Walker was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven sons, Ronald, Gerold, Larry, Marvin, Ronnie and Craig Walker of Charleston, Mose Walker Jr. of Peoria, Ill.; five daughters, Mona, Sharon and Vienna Walker of Charleston, Erma Price of Joliet, Ill., Marie Robinson of Peoria, Ill.; a sister, Rebecca Cornley of Perris, Calif.; three brothers, Charlie Robinson of Sandusky, Ohio, Samuel Robinson of Gary, Ind., Issac Robinson of Joliet; 30 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Church. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
