Funeral service for Alice Hazel Ervin, 1933 Perryville Road, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Maple United Methodist Church. The Revs. John Gregory and Marshall Ervin will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. Thursday.
Ervin, 83, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 21, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Marshall L. and Ethel Beach Ervin.
Ervin worked at Missouri Utilities Co. 45 years, retiring as an assistant executive secretary. She was a member of Maple Church and its United Methodist Women, taught Sunday School many years, and was a former pianist and organist at the church.
Survivors include a brother, the Rev. Marshall Ervin of Rushville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
