ADVANCE, Mo.-- Alice Brown, daughter of the late Gilbert and Eva Galemore, was born Nov. 3, 1949, and departed this life Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018.
Alice was a resident of Advance, but spent most of her life working and raising her family in the Charleston, Missouri, and surrounding areas, where she still has many family members and friends.
In January 1968, she was united in marriage to Patrick O'Connor, who preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1993.
She is survived by their children, Annie O'Connor Smith of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Chris O'Connor and his wife, Beth, of Advance; and seven grandchildren, Zach Smith, Jacob Smith, Lachelle Smith, Sam Smith, Drew Fowler, Ashtin Fowler and Hunter Lawfield. Alice is also survived by a brother Chuck Galemore and his wife, Carlene, of Cookville, Tennessee; sisters, Peggy Holman of Anniston, Missouri, and Debbie Untereiner of Cape Girardeau; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family whom she loved very much, and they each meant the world to her.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon Galemore and Warren Galemore, and a sister, Barbara Bethel.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
There will be no funeral or graveside services as it was Alice's wishes to be cremated.
