MALDEN -- Alice Beatrice White, 48, of Malden died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Sikeston Sept. 16, 1950, daughter of Alonzo and Anna Mae Sherrod Harris. She married Thomas White April 2, 1964, in Malden.
She had worked as a homemaker and attended House of Prayer in Malden.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Carrie Harris of Sikeston; her husband of Malden; four sons, Corey Sherrod of Kennett, Michael Sherrod of Sikeston, James White of Oakland, Calif., and Thomas White of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Monica Jackson of Malden and Twania White of Kansas City; six brothers, Alonzo and Michael Harris, both of Sikeston, James Harris of Kansas City, Paul Harris of Memphis, Tenn., and Vashon Sherrod and Joe Thompson, both of Milwaukee, Wisc.; 11 sisters, Carolyn Yarber, Sandra Brooks, Tracye Green, Hope Harris, Shirlee Harris and Kimberly Sanders, all of Sikeston, Dawna Allen of Cleveland, Ohio, Ruthie Mae Davis of Milwaukee, Wisc., Marilyn Harris of Seattle, Wash., Shauna Harris of Jefferson City, and Willie Lewis of Anderson, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bradshaw Funeral Home.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at House of Prayer with Elder James Fair officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Cemetery at Catron.
