Alice J. Adams, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1947, in Malden, Mo. She was the wife of Robert "Butch" Adams, and was married Oct. 1, 1966, in Marble Hill, Mo. Alice worked for Florsheim Group Inc. 30 years and at Nordenia 10 years. She was of the Baptist belief...

Alice J. Adams, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 9, 1947, in Malden, Mo. She was the wife of Robert "Butch" Adams, and was married Oct. 1, 1966, in Marble Hill, Mo.

Alice worked for Florsheim Group Inc. 30 years and at Nordenia 10 years. She was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Farris (Sunny Rae) Adams of Millersville; two brothers, Bobbie Joe Pennington of Memphis, Tenn., Gary Dale Pennington of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Kaylea and Tess Adams of Millersville.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
