JONESBORO, Ill. -- Graveside service for Alfred Winn of Marion will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Oakley will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 8:30-10 a.m.
Winn, 67, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997, at his home.
He was born April 16, 1930, at Cobden, son of Everett and Ina May Pickett Winn. He was formerly of Jonesboro.
Serving in the U.S. Army more than 30 years, he was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He received many honors, including the Bronze Star.
Survivors include a sister, Jean Baldwin of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Oral Winn of Anna, and Kenneth Winn of Dallas.
