CHAFFEE -- Alfred V. Hanlon, 74, of St. Charles, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles.
He was born June 18, 1925, at University City, son of Francis Bernard and Mary Ethel Montgomery Hanlon.
He and Jean Bentley were married Feb. 15, 1947. She survives.
Hanlon had been a floor installer for 34 years, employed by the F.P. Hanlon Co. in St. Louis. He was a member of the Hope Church in Bellfountain's Neighbors.
Other survivors include two sons, Mike Hanlon of St. Louis and Paul Hanlon of St. Peters; a daughter, Vickie Raftery of Schererville, Ind.; three brothers, Paul Hanlon of Maryland Heights, William Hanlon and John L. Hanlon, both of Delta; a sister, Rose Mary Crump of Maryland Heights; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today at Stygar Funeral Home in St. Charles and from 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Raftery officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
