Alfred Seals

McCLURE, Ill. -- Alfred F. "Bub" Seals, 65, of McClure died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at his home.

He was born Sept. 24, 1956, in Anna, Illinois, to Frank James and Frances Mae Goins Seals. He and Debra "Debbie" Dunn were married June 26, 1976, at McClure Baptist Church in McClure. She preceded him in death Jan. 17, 2022.

Bub was a forklift operator for Kasten Masonry for 19 years and for Stovall Block and Brick.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was devoted to reading his bible.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Seals of Smiths Station, Alabama; three grandchildren, Landon Drake Seals, Gunner James Seals and Ansley Renea Carr; brother, Richard Seals; and three sisters, Patricia Dickerson, Rose Knotts and Patty Ann Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Burgess officiating. Burial will be at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.
