Alfred D. Davis, 69, of Flippin, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1993, at the Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mountain Home, Ark.
He was born Feb. 23, 1924, at Canalous, Mo., son of Homer and Grace Vandererifft Davis.
He married Mary R. Followell, Jan. 3, 1948. She died Dec. 15, 1989.
He later married Jeanette Ott.
Davis was a retired laborer for the Eaton Transmission Company.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary D. Davis of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two daughters, Diane Goolsby of Plainwell, Mich., Kay Perigo of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a half-brother, Bill Davis of Scott City; a sister, Imogene Mayberry of Cape Girardeau; a half-sister, Louise Friese of Cape Girardeau; and a grandson.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Jerry Culbertson officiating.
Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
