CHAFFEE, Mo. -- "Our Little Angel," Alexander James Rios Salinas, born in Pleasanton, Calif., July 11, 1996, was returned to Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, at 7:28 p.m. Alex was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at 11 months old and fought a battle with a loving and courageous spirit. He taught many lessons and touched many lives in his four years on earth...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- "Our Little Angel," Alexander James Rios Salinas, born in Pleasanton, Calif., July 11, 1996, was returned to Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, at 7:28 p.m.

Alex was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at 11 months old and fought a battle with a loving and courageous spirit. He taught many lessons and touched many lives in his four years on earth.

Alex's spirit lives on in the hearts of his loving and wonderful parents, Tamara Rios and Aaron Salinas of Pleasanton; his grandparents, Tim and Janell Seyer of Pleasanton, Al and Terri Rios of Fremont, Calif., Carol and Angel Salinas of Pleasanton; uncles, Nathan and Aaron Rios of California; aunts, Lindsay Rios and Nikki Salinas; great-grandparents, Donna and Dr. Joe Nelson, Virginia and Marcus Seyer of Chaffee, Margaret and Julius Kovac, Jerry and Jimmie Nunn, Albert Rios Sr., and great-aunts, uncles, cousins, many extended family members and many friends.

A memorial service in celebration of Alex's life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at 4 p.m. at Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Boulevard, Pleasanton, Calif., 94566.
