Alex was an adventure enthusiast, advanced climber, sea and river kayaker and all-around "good sport." He was convinced a good hike in the woods could fix most things. Alex was an accomplished musician and artist. He loved long boarding, cycling, hiking, jamming, drawing, laughing, camping, stoking the fire and hanging with his friends.

For Alex, getting there was the adventure. He loved life.

Alex is survived by his parents, Ken and Susie Keller of Cape Girardeau. He also leaves his grandparents, Kenneth Keller Sr. of Scott City and Joe and Eunice Blazek of Shell Knob, Missouri; his great-grandmother, Jean Pulliam; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and more true friends than thought possible to have.

A celebration of life will be May 13 at Trail of Tears State Park, near Cape Girardeau. More details will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to Suicide Prevention and Awareness at the Community Counseling Center in your area.
