Alex "Tyrone" Bowen, 41, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at Pettis County Assisted Living in Sedalia, Missouri.

He was born April 8, 1976, in Rome, Georgia, to Charlie and Jennie Helen Kent Bowen.

He attended Cape Girardeau Central High School.

Survivors include his mother, Jennie Bowen of Cape Girardeau; father, Charlie Bowen of Georgia; two sisters, Roxanne (Steve) Wilson of Dalton, Georgia, and Beverly Bowen of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Charlton (Jessica) Bowen of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Rodney Bowen of Dexter, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Cotton Jr. of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
