Alethea Helen Haas, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1996, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.
She was born March 5, 1900, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Anton H. and Aurelia Pobst Haas.
Haas was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Cathedral Ladies, and St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include two nephews, Gene and Richard Haas of Farmington, and a niece, Gretchen Fee of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 5-7 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
