FARMINGTON -- Alene Harbison, 71, of Farmington died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Parkland Health Center.
She was born Nov. 9, 1928, at DeSoto, daughter of Guy and Alice Carter Haywood.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene.
She also is survived by her husband, Wendell Harbison; a son, Gary Harbison of Jefferson City; a daughter, Evelyn LeGrand of Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Winston and Earl Haywood of St. Louis and Wesley Haywood of Eugene, Ore.; two sisters, Virginia Huitt of Bend, Ore., and Iva Jean Wells of Desloge; a half-brother, Larry Haywood of Farmington; two half-sisters, Mary Haywood of Phoenix, Ariz., and Susie Boashart of Troy; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Mel Skeen and Tim Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
