MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Alda Elizabeth Fisher, 90, of Marble Hill, formerly of Overland, Mo., died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.
She was born July 13, 1913, at Lutesville, Mo., daughter of William and Melola Eaker Myers. She and Dolphie Fisher were married Feb. 7, 1934, at Lutesville. He died Jan. 9, 1992.
Fisher was a member of the Vinita Park General Baptist Church since 1957, where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and member in the WMS. She was a member of the Ritenour Garden Club.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Fisher of Florissant, Mo.; five daughters, Catherine Henson and Rachel Winchester, both of Marble Hill, Janice Cloninger of Zalma, Mo., Louise Boyd of Cape Girardeau and Wilma Jean Johns of St. Louis; two sisters, Agnes Corbin of Advance, Mo., and Rachel Shell of Marble Hill; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, a sister, a grandson and three great-grandsons.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Roy Stanfill and John Buttry officiating. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery.
