Alberta Dickey

Alberta Dickey, 86, of Scott City died Friday, May 21, 2010, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

She was born July 25, 1923, in Illmo, Mo., to Albert E. and Jessie Barnes Bentley. She married the Rev. William M. Dickey April 21, 1947, in Illmo. He preceded her in death April 5, 2000.

She is survived by two sons, David Dickey of Cape Girardeau, James Dickey of Glenallen, Mo.; two sisters, Jessie Lee Corvick of Scott City, Rosemary George of Tucson, Ariz.; and three granddaughters, Jessica, Juliet and Jeana Dickey, all of Glenallen.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rodger Rice officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
