PERRYVILLE -- Alberta M. Amberger, 74, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1925, at Claryville, daughter of Herman and Mabel Brown Pick. She and John M. Amberger were married May 19, 1946.
Amberger had been a seamstress in the laundry department at Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, president of the Ladies Aid, chancel guide, and Lutheran Womens Missionary League.
Survivors include her husband; a son, James Amberger of Perryville; three daughters, Sharon Nash of Spokane, Wash., Kaye Cook of Cape Girardeau, Yvonne Kirn of Perryville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
