ALBERT R. KOCH

NEW WELLS -- Albert R. "Joe" Koch, 72, of New Wells, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Juy 23, 1921, at New Wells, son of Theodore and Margareta Hemmann Koch. He and Coletta McMullin Pinkerton were married July 17, 1971.

Koch worked on the family farm all his life. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at New Wells, and American Legion Post at Perryville. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Donna Dotzert of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Hilda Meinz and Louise Boehme of Cape Girardeau, Elsie Schuessler of New Wells, Jeanette Bergman of Perryville; two stepgranddaughters, and a great-stepgrandson.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Walter Patzwitz will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today. An American Legion service will be held at 7.
