ALBERT MORGAN

MORLEY -- Albert N. Morgan, 82, of Morley died Sunday, May 10, 1998, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Nov. 23, 1915, at Brockett, Ark., son of Albert "Newt" and Nora Buxton Morgan. He and Lena Johnson were married May 1, 1937, at Pocahontas.

Morgan worked for more than 28 years as an assistant chief and master mechanic for the Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Corp. at Oran. He retired in 1978.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Fred Morgan of Oran and Norman Morgan of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate, with burial in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
