Albert Mize

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Albert Mize, 82, of Villa Ridge died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, at his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Pulaski, son of John and Cora Poole Mize. He and Blanche Gulley were married Feb. 9, 1934, in Pulaski.

Mize was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Mounds, and Local 773 in Cairo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth Mize of Villa Ridge; a daughter, Sue Pfaff of Villa Ridge; a sister, Lucille Harrington of Flint, Mich.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, three sisters and six brothers.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge after 5 p.m. today, and Friday at the Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until service time.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with Ronnie Gulley officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
