ALBERT HENRY LIPE

THEBES, Ill. -- Albert Henry Lipe, 79, of Union, Mo., formerly of Thebes, Ill., died Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 6, 1915, at Olive Branch, Ill., son of David and Edith Clapp Lipe.

Lipe was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include a sister, Clara Dodd of Olive Branch.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, with the Rev. James Waymire officiating.

Burial will follow in the Beachwood Cemetery at Mounds, Ill., with full military honors given by members of the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna, Ill.
