ALBERT H. VOELKER

BERTRAND -- Albert H. "Dutch" Voelker, 88, of Bertrand, died Thursday, June 23, 1994, at Oak Ridge Nursing Home in Jefferson City.

He was born Oct. 27, 1905, in Bertrand, son of Charles and Ella Hutson Voelker. He and Hazel Ruth McDowell were married June 9, 1935. She died Jan. 6, 1989.

Voelker was a driver with Righter Trucking Co., retiring in 1962. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles Voelker of Jefferson City; a daughter, Ruth Voelker of Bertrand; a sister, Frances Peters of Bertrand, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alma Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
