COBDEN, Ill. -- Albert C. Flamm, 74, of Cobden died Monday, April 17, 2006, at his home.
He was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Cobden, son of Adolph and Agnes Bradac Flamm. He and Carolyn Clutts were married May 1, 1954, in Cobden.
Flamm was a lifelong member of Carbondale, Ill., and Cape Girardeau farmers markets. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 160 in Murphysboro, Ill., St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden, Knights of Columbus, life member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna, and Cobden American Legion Post 259.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Julie Harrington of Cape Girardeau, Linda Wiggs and Debra Russell of Cobden, Christy Zinobile of Bowling Green, Ky., Valerie Neville of Owensboro, Ky.; three sons, Ron, Rusty and Rick Flamm, all of Cobden; two brothers, Edwin and Raymond Flamm of Cobden; three sisters, Sister Rose Marie Flamm and Agnes Williams of St. Louis, Mille Murphy of Topeka, Kan.; and 29 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 4 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 8:30.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with full military honors by VFW Post 3455.
